The Property Butlers: Home Buyers in Richland County

Hello! We are the Property Butlers and this blog post is to share a little bit about who we are. We are a local family owned and operated small business who buys homes in Richland and surrounding counties. The company is owned by Jerod and Melinda Butler, who started investing in Richland County in January of 2013 with their first duplex. They both had a passion for real estate while growing up. Jerod started working in real estate remodeling as a young teen and Melinda was working on getting her nursing degree to help others while saving money to invest in real estate. It was her dream to provide beautiful homes to our community. Jerod and Melinda were married in 2013 and continued to build their rental portfolio and later went on to have two beautiful little boys who also love to grab their tools and join us during our rehabs.

We found a special needed niche of buying homes as is that need repaired as we love to bring homes back to life. This does two things that are important to us, it rejuvenates our community and also provides beautiful homes for those in our community. Our niche is also special because it makes the sales process super easy on our seller. We pride ourselves in making selling your house fast and simple. When we buy houses, we do so with out the seller having to do any repairs, cleaning, or even removing belongings that they don't want. We also provide support, guidance and assistance however we possibly can throughout the process!

Once we have purchased the home, we then remodel the home, small or large renovations, whatever is needed to bring the home back to life, We love when we can keep some originality of the homes while still bringing an updated and more modern touch to the home. Upon completion we make the home available to our community, typically through renting, but we occasionally sell some as well.

We focus most of our home buying in Richland County, but we also buy in Ashland County, Knox County, Morrow County, Crawford County and occasionally Huron or other nearby counties as well. If you are looking to sell your house or have any questions about our process, feel free to reach out! We look forward to speaking with you!
